We are an independent voice, representing our members, influencing policy, and informing decision makers. We campaign for policy change that will help our members deliver their services, that will include the views and opinions of homeless people, and ultimately end homelessness.

WE ADVISE AND INFLUENCE

We regularly meet with decision makers on a one on one basis, as well as making joint representation with our members. As part of this representation function, our staff regularly attend and chair a range of fora, and campaign on a range of policy areas.

Senior management and policy staff hold regular meetings with local decision makers, including the Northern Ireland Housing Executive, the Department for Communities and other Government departments, as well as local politicians and political representatives. As part of our wider commitment to fight homelessness, senior staff regularly meet with our counterparts across the UK.

WE LISTEN AND ACT

As part of our wider representation work, we work with members to keep homelessness on everyone's agenda, and to positively influence policy, attitudes and commissioning on behalf of homeless services and the people they support.

We listen to people who have experienced homelessness and to our members to help inform this vital work. We worked hard on a number of key issues recently, including
